Luego de una exitosa semana de nominaciones, los lectores de ArchDaily han evaluado más de 3.000 proyectos y seleccionado 5 finalistas en cada categoría del Premio Building of the Year.
Más de 30.000 arquitectos y entusiastas de la disciplina participaron en el proceso de nominación, escogiendo proyectos que ejemplifican lo que significa empujar la arquitectura. Estos finalistas son las obras que más han inspirado a los lectores de ArchDaily.
Este diverso grupo de proyectos proviene de todos los rincones del mundo y de oficinas de diferentes tamaños y estilos. La selección de este año incluye algunos nombres ya conocidos del Building of the Year, junto a una saludable selección de oficinas emergentes. Mientras la arquitectura "en español" está presente en esta etapa final con 14 obras repartidas en México (7), Colombia (2), Chile (2), España (1), Argentina (1) y Perú (1).
Y finalmente, lo más importante: todas estas obras capturan la capacidad de la arquitectura de irradiar un cambio positivo en nuestro entorno.
